In the latest development in the 19-year-old Uttarakhand receptionist murder case, former employees of the resort levelled several serious allegations against accused Pulkit Arya. The accusations raise serious questions about the Uttarakhand Police Administration.
A former female employee of the Vanantra resort in Rishikesh revealed horrific details about the activities going on in the resort.
She revealed that Ankit Arya, one of the accused in the case, used to bring girls from outside to the resort. She added that the girls at the resort were ill-treated.
The former employee also revealed that Pulkit Arya tried to call her into his room with food at night.
Another former employee of the resort narrated an incident about a party where a guest hugged Ankita. The incident happened days before her death.
The ex-employee claimed that Ankita went out on a trip with Pulkit Arya in the first week of September.
Talking to AajTak, the ex-employee said that the behavior of the resort owner Pulkit Arya, manager Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta is different with the employees on the first day and then changes in a few days. Ankit Gupta was Pulkit Arya’s personal assistant.
He joined the resort on August 31 and resigned on September 5.
“They did not even pay me for the days I worked and if I had left, then they would have done the same with me that they did with Ankita,” said the former employee.
He further added that there was a party in the resort on September 1 with 20 people in attendance. A person hugged Ankita in that party.
“All the workers were told to go back in the kitchen after doing their work and to not pay attention to any activity of the resort,” said the former employee.
